This list of stocking stuffer ideas for foodies is filled with easy, affordable inspiration. All purchased, used, and loved by a food blogger.
Stockings have always been a big deal in my family, often filled with inexpensive and edible/food-related goodies. Not everything had to have a deeply sentimental meaning, rather just something fun or new the recipient would enjoy. One thing I love to see in my stocking year after year? A Terry's chocolate orange. Thanks, Santa! 🙂
That theme has rolled right into my adulthood - I keep a list of stocking stuffer ideas for my family on my phone throughout the year so I'm ready to go after Turkey Day.
I wanted to share some of my favorite foodie and foodie-adjacent ideas on the blog this year. What started as a smaller group ballooned once I went around the house and gathered things for the picture I took above, but hopefully this list can give you some inspiration for the foodies in your life this holiday season.

The below are paid affiliate links, which means I make a commission from a purchase with no additional cost to you. However this is not a sponsored post - every item included is something I have personally purchased and use, or have bought as gifts over the years for my family. I do not work with any of these brands.
Good sprinkles: Either a fun blend or seriously delicious, made-with-actual-cocoa dark chocolate hagelslag (IYKYK, or in my case, IYHADFYK - if you have a Dutch friend, you know).
"Fancy" jams and spreads: Something special beyond basic strawberry and grape, like so many Stonewall Kitchen jam flavors (we're a wild Maine blueberry house, but now working on apple cider, with peach amaretto up next), pistachio cream, etc.
Eric Carle wet/dry bag: The food parade print makes me smile ever time I see it. It machine washes and dries well.
Finishing salt: We love smoked sea salt on vegetables, meats, even *sparingly* on desserts with caramel sauce. Trader Joe's has a cute (and inexpensive) ceramic tub of plain sea salt this year.
Bundt magnets: Just the cutest. They're sturdy plastic and not metal so they won't scratch up your fridge.
Serious business oven mitts: I started gifting these silicone oven mitts immediately after buying a set for myself - so easy to clean and you get a great grip. And we're all about super heat-resistant pit mitts for grilling and rifling through our deep freezer.
Nice baking ingredients: I'm a sucker for anything from King Arthur and have never been disappointed by the quality. Some favorites are their black cocoa powder, Fiori di Sicilia extract, and their Yuletide Cheer spice blend.
Ravioli spoon rest: This thing has gotten covered in marinara sauce on a regular basis over the seven years since I bought it and it hasn't stained one bit. Love that it doesn't skid around the countertop, too.
Fancy cherries: Such an easy way to make drinks more special and they're truly set apart from ice-cream-aisle maraschinos. Sometimes Trader Joe's will have them but they go quickly - keep an eye out!
Flavored Nespresso capsules: These barista flavors are so good.
Sugar cubes: Ridiculously inexpensive but elevates our espresso nook nicely.
Food PJs: I find these Burt's Bees baby PJs hard to resist. We own these waffle footie PJs, but also pasta and gelato & cannoli prints...because of course.
Stainless steel measuring spoons: Hands-down kitchen workhorses. I have multiple sets of this narrower kind that fit more easily into spice bottles.
Nostalgia items: Both millenials, I've surprised my husband with a carton of strawberry milk, and Warheads, and treated myself to cotton candy Lip Smacker lip balm (not my beloved Dr. Pepper, though...) and fine-tip Mr. Sketch scented markers.
Almond Delicious hand cream: Will be a guaranteed favorite for those of us who love taking a whiff of the almond extract bottle. This mini size is great for stockings.
Fun pasta shapes: Some kinds can get pretty pricey when you compare to standard pasta - these ASL shapes and dinosaur shapes are fun for kids and won't break the bank.
Stasher bags: So many different colors and sizes. What I love about these is the very secure "zipper" part is all connected to the bag in one solid piece and they never have residual odors.
Flavored bitters: We love these tiki bitters in warm weather drinks and black walnut bitters in colder weather drinks.
One piece silicone utensils: Sturdy, won't scratch up your pans, and there's no place for gunk to hide and grow. One of my kitchen must-haves! I've collected these from Williams-Sonoma, Cuisinart, Tovolo, and Sur La Table (love their silicone ladle).
Flavored maple syrups: We gave this whole set to my father-in-law a few years ago, but you could break it up into gifts for six stockings, too.
Gourmand soap: Lots of different ones! Beekman 1802 vanilla or honey and oats, Dionis vanilla bean (really any of their vanilla bean stuff), and Zum almond are some personal favorites.
Cinnamon floss: Kind of a weird one, but I became a floss connoisseur after going through Invisalign and find the grippiness of this brand excellent and the cinnamon flavor something to look forward to daily!
Food calendar: I'm a big "calendar in the kitchen" person and have bought this wall calendar featuring Cook's Illustrated illustrations for five years running. No notes.
