This naturally-sweetened, honey and lemon flavored bourbon-based cocktail is blended with ice for a refreshing summer drink.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz honey syrup, recipe below
  • 1 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 1 cup ice

Instructions

For the honey syrup:

  • Add 1/2 cup of water to a small pot over high heat until it comes to a simmer. Once it's simmering, remove pot from the heat and whisk in 1/4 cup honey until combined. Store excess honey syrup in the refrigerator.

For the cocktail:

  • In a blender, add 1 oz honey syrup, lemon juice, bourbon, and ice. Blend until ice has broken down and drink is frothy. Serve with a lemon garnish.

Notes

The honey syrup recipe will yield enough honey syrup for several drinks.
